I bought a $25 version of a chair just like this and it didn't last a season. The Browning chair is made much better and stronger. If you plan to use this alot each season...spend the money and get this chair. Very comfortable, nice carrying strap and well built.Wonderful chair very sturdy. I am a bigger man and fit great :)Good value. Sturdy. Affordable. Comfortable.I have turkey hunted w another chair exactly like this I bought locally about 4-5 years ago. I am 6’2” and about 245 lbs. it has never failed. Although other chairs have. I first bought the chair mainly for the higher quality carry strap vs all and I mean all others I have found. While there is a primos chair w the same strap the connection to the chair is weaker. I had problems w the strength if competing chairs straps. I hint hard15 full days a year. I take others w me and so I bought another chair for friends to use. It is or rather can be very quite. But it is A metal frame so some care has to be take to not bump if your close. On a slow day I can comfortably sit in the chair for hours. And I have back problems but the angle let’s me stretch out and lean. I gave my size and the regular chair is plenty big for me. My brother is a few inches taller and weighs about 270 and he finds it just right. I think the larger version may be prohibitive in the turkey woods.I saw a question about hills. That’s about the only limitation of this chair. It is reclined so too much of an angle forward and you will be siting straight up. If your facing up hill you better have a tree behind you so you don’t go over backwards. But kicking out small holes in the dirt for either the front or back legs makes it work well on terrain as long as it isn’t too steep. I would like to see connections like bungee on the back of the chair to keep it from falling off the metal upright posts that hold the seat back. But it’s easy to put in if it fell off in walking around.I would want to know these facts so I write. But truthfully I’m afraid it will bring me further competition if turkey hunters knew how comfortable these chairs are for this sport vs your vest and a tree. Setup is lengthened about 30sec to put the chair down and open it. But keeps you still for extremely long periods when it usually counts.Used for Turkey hunting. Nice chair. Only complaint is it's pretty heavy.A bit disappointed. Just acquired the seat. Arrived through UPS. Excitedly opened the box and removed the chair. Pulled it out of the canvas case and opened the chair. Took a seat in it and thought, "Yeeeaahhh. This is what I need. Its pretty comfortable. At least for a few minutes anyway. How I will feel after a few hours may be different but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.Packed it back up and was surprised to see that the chair itself in addition to the canvas bag, also has a sling on it. I thought, "Awesome!". I grabbed the sling to pick up the chair and one end pops loose. Thought maybe it came unclipped. Reclipped and went for round 2. Same thing happened. Then I noticed what is photographed above (or below...wherever they're gonna put it). Why on earth would a company knowing that you're going to be hauling a shotgun, 1-2 decoys, and a bag of tricks...in addition to this chair, make the clips and rings for the sling so damned cheap and flimsy that you don't even have to break them...the company will have them pre-broken for you before shipping?!Its not a big enough problem for me to go through the hassle of returning it for an exchange. I can fix it. I just shouldn't have to and will now have to reconsider future Browning purchases for things I have to count on in the field.Love this product. Strong and holds up really wellEDIT* 3-11-19Browning never did come through for me on the nut that I needed, I am actually VERY surprised at that too, I mean, I had "help" in the header and nobody once contacted me! (I replaced the bolt and nut myself)One more thing, now that I have used it several times, there is an obvious, 'rubbing-squeaking' sound in the back support area when I adjust myself, which I do often. This noise is loud enough that it scares off any bird that is around, so it is actually scaring off my intended photographic subject. If you are a turkey hunter this will screw up your hunt in a hurry, that is, if other are experiencing the same noise.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________I got this chair almost two weeks ago and tried it out finally, I use it for photography, it's low to the ground is a thing that can help my shots look more like I want them. There is NO real downside to this chair, with the exception of the weight, it's not super heavy, but if it were lighter it would be better. Although, then the quality of the chair would be compromised, so it's fine the way it is.I received this on time, it was boxed pretty good, but inside of the box was a loose screw or bolt. When I looked for where it went I couldn't find where, so I assumed it was an extra that somehow got thrown into the box accidentally. Actually it was from the right front leg as I found out later, it was a small bolt and the nut that was supposed to hold it on was nowhere to be seen, so I am bolt-less and missing a nut. It still works though, but it makes a weird scraping noise when I move it while adjusting my seating while trying to get comfortable. Luckily there is a 'groove' that supports that bar that the screw goes to so that bolt doesn't support all of the weight. So, Browning, please send me a new nut and bolt please, then I will be whole again.I'm not upset, I am just without, I don't want to continue using it for fear of breaking it.I love it as much as anyone else does. :)Great piece of kit. Well made, comfortable and lighter in weight than I expected. The carry handle is useful. This is worth every penny. It is super comfortable, yes it can get heavy when walking to your hunting spot. It blended in well in my hunt, I tried it in fall and in winter. It does keep you off the ground in a low profile angled back support. It is very sturdy if you dont mind carrying extra weight on a hunt. The seller delivery was on time the product is what it states I went with the XL model looking forward to using it in the summer again just to relax. If you lay back and get comfortable you may just fall asleep missing your prey lol. This chair is about 150% the size and weight of the tripod style stool I've been using before this. But this chair is 300% more comfortable. Its very sturdy and the bag is unnecessary as there is this clip that holds the chair folded and a comfortable sling is built into the chair. The low height of this chair does not make it uncomfortable, even with my large frame and multiple issues. It's the perfect height to site in while working on my bike too.this is a very well built chair - the major problem is that it is heavy but this is the price you have to pay for having comfort - it was purchased mainly to get up off of the forest floor which is now plagued with deer ticks. I have been using a Browning Stadium seat but that puts you in direct contact with ticks. I deer hunt in Lanark County and this is a hot spot for deer ticks (lyme disease).I've ordered this chair one month before my deer hunting trip. It arrived within a few days.I was afraid that sitting so low to the ground would be a hazard but it was a blessing. It was like sitting in a lounge chair with your feet kicked up. The other good thing is your sitting low behind your blind. On top of that,, it's very comfotable. It comes with it's own carring bag. The quality is first rate. Folds and unfolds very rapidly. I'm a very heavy man and this chair did not produce any noise or creecks in any way. It's a bit heavy to carry along so I left it in my hyding spot untiil I made my kill a few days later.Highly reccommended..
