Great product to protect against scratches and dust. This is heat resistant to a degree but not an actual hot plate, nor should you cook on it. You should clean the surface of your stove and be sure it's cool/room temperature before putting it in place. It has a nice rubber backing to protect your stovetop and won't slide around. The edges are nicely stitched and it has two pre-sewn loops along the top edge so you may hang it out of the way. It also comes with three self-adhesive hooks for hanging (only two are needed unless you add a loop of your own in the middle). As for cleaning, it claims to be dishwasher safe though I don't believe I would do that. The surface (top and bottom) can be wiped clean with a damp cloth (maybe a bit of Dawn dish soap, if needed). All in all it will give you peace of mind that you've got protection against scratches and small mishaps.You need this in your life. It gives me more counter space, it alleviates my concern about damaging my new cooktop, and it's super easy to clean. It stays looking really nice since you can wipe it down with a sponge and water to get it pristine again. I try not to but definitely do spill things on it since I use it as counter space and have never had it stain.I never put hot things on it or near it. They provide hooks to hang it out of the way and those hooks are on my fridge instead of my oven to avoid any risk of what other reviewers have mentioned with it melting. I've had mine about 6 months and it still looks new and works perfectly. I chose the flower version with black and was afraid it would look cheap but it absolutely does not! There is good detail in the image and looks like a classy accent to my kitchen. It also means hanging it on my fridge is fine when needed since the whole thing really looks quite nice.If debating, go ahead and get it. For the price and the peace of mind you won't regret it. Just me and my two cents.I found I was using my induction cooktop as additional counter space and so I wanted to protect it from inevitable scratches. I looked at many different types and this seemed the best choice. It’s more than merely a good choice - I can’t imagine a better one. It rolls up quickly when I need to cook and wipes off easily when it’s been a counter. I don’t have room in my tiny kitchen to hang it by the hooks but they look strong and so do the loops on the mat. A very small and discreet logo at a lower corner shows which side should be up. It is a very well thought-out product.Our new Larsic stove cover protects our new glass stovetop perfectly. I ordered the extra thick for added protection. I feel comfortable placing dishes on top to use as added counter space, but it easily rolls up and is out of the way for when I need to cook. I really feel this will aid in keeping our stovetop looking great for years to come.After a pan fell on our glass cooktop and it cracked, we wanted to have some protection so that scenario wouldn't happen again. This stovetop cover arrived in a timely manner and we were very pleased with the quality of it. It looked very nice on our stove. It was easy to roll up and place to the side or throw over a chair when we wanted to use the stove. It does come with some hooks from which you can hang it by three loops at the top, but we hadn't decided where we wanted to hang it. Tonight, somehow our stove got turned on. I can't even blame it on the grandkids because it was just my husband and I in the house! We have no idea how one of the burners got turned on. One of us must've bumped the knob, but we were completely unaware of that happening until we started smelling burning rubber! So, if you have a way of ensuring your stove won't get turned on accidentally, then I would say get this product. But if your stove might get turned on accidentally, I wouldn't get this. It does look nice, though and it is a good quality product so that's why I gave it five stars.Like on a deep level. I really love this. I have a glass top stove. I think they get ugly after about one use. I also like to set stuff temporarily on my stove. This solves all my problems and when I want to use my stove I just fold it up and set it out of the way. It's fantastic.I love how thick the material is. It's real good quality. We just had our kitchen remodeled and I wanted to put a cover on my new stove top. It covers my stove perfectly ? ? ?I would recommend this brand. I just wish there's a lot more selections on the design. But the rose is pretty ?In my beautiful renovated kitchen this stove cover works beautifully. I picked the red rose as an accent to my white with black kitchen. It is very durable and easy to wipe clean.Really nice product. Fits our rangemaster perfectly (it's a 90cm wide model). Top is like a neoprene wetsuit material and the underside is a grippy textured rubber. Looks really neat. And of course if you are only using an element or two you can just fold it over and retain the other side of the hob as work space.Having limited work top and also ceramic hobs on my cooker which easily mark I searched for an answer to solve the problems. This is it. Extends my kitchen work surface, protects my ceramic hobs and is heatproof and easy clean too. Really was the perfect answer. Bonus that it covers that tiny gap between cooker and work tops where I invariably drop things while preparing. Really recommend this Hob Cover. I bought the 73cm x 53cm size to cover my 60cm cooker hobs as pics show.Having had to replace an induction hob after a jar fell out of a cupboard and smashed one edge I wanted to make sure my new one had a chance of surviving a similar incident. This suits perfectly and better still I can now use it to iron odd small items without dragging the ironing board out of the cupboard. Looks smart on and also wipes clean easily . Comes with little hooks you can attach to a wall or unit with suckers to hang it out of the way when cooking tho personally I find it easier to just roll it up. I'm not giving it five stars just because it is definitely overpriced for what it is.This item is brilliant. Not only does it give extra work space by covering up the hob, but it also acts as a splash drop for the tiles during cooking!! It’s strong and thick material, and lightweight that can be machine washed if needed. The hooks that come with it, are so handy too when it’s used as a back splash. When using the hob space as a work space, it saves the hob getting scratched and damaged. Price wise I thought it was a bit expensive but on purchasing it and seeing what it is and the usage of it, I’m blown away! It’s a bargain. Im well impressed with it. Five stars throughout from me.Love this . Smallest size fits a 60 x 60 cm uk cooker glass hob perfectly. I was worried it wouldn't fit but it's ideal fit. It's very very slip resistant and wipe clean with a damp cloth . Quality . Not that thick but serviceable . Can use the cooker too put things on . Mine is a ceramic hob by the way . Havnt tried it with heat yet as my brand new cooker arrived smashed .. so can't say until I have had it replaced . Very expensive I must say . I think it's worth £25 Not almost £50 But these seem hard too find and it's good . I do recommend it so far ..
