Caveat: this stove just arrived today and I won't have time until Monday to light it up. But, after two earlier generations of pump-primed multi-fueled stoves--the first one, from Switzerland, lasted 30 years, the second, an MSR, died after four--this stove appears to be ideal. The gas-priming method is time-honored, the construction is excellent, the instructions so simple they're printed on the side of the stove. It comes with a tiny, self-explanatory tool kit. I will update you on its performance, but it promises to be the stove of choice for the long haul.
